Veneers are ultra-thin, handmade coverings of porcelain that are placed on the fronts of your existing teeth. Veneers do not stain and last for many years.

Since we can create virtually any size, shape and color tooth, veneers allow us to take stained, crooked or gapped teeth and remake them into teeth that are incredibly striking in appearance.

The Procedure
Porcelain Veneers are usually done in two office visits.

In the first visit, we prepare a "mock up" for the porcelain veneer that will be created by our dental laboratory. In the second visit, we place the veneers.

Cosmetic dentistry is about aesthetic taste, and we make sure it is YOUR concept of beauty that shapes the decisions we make in preparing your veneers. Teeth come in many different shapes: rounded, square, pointed, and deep or shallow embrasures (the "V" shaped notches on the biting edge of your teeth). These shapes should fit your face and match your aesthetic tastes.

This is one of the areas of which we are most proud. We work carefully WITH YOU during this stage so the final result will be the aesthetic look that YOU find beautiful.

We don’t wish to make this procedure sound complicated but every patient has to be treated individually. Some patients will be fitted with temporary veneers (for about two weeks), others will not.

Most of our patients will come in so we can create the mock ups and later return for the placement of the final veneers. We can tell you which category you will be in during your cosmetic consultation.

One final note: Porcelain Veneers are the most powerful aesthetic procedure we have. It can create amazingly beautiful smiles because we can create the size, shape and color (whiteness) that you choose. This is why so many people in the public eye have chosen this procedure.
